While this lure has the basic functions for a pencil popper, such as popping sounds, splashes and flexible movememts, this Disturbin’ Wire agitates the surface with the blade.
Everytime you make actions, the blade rotates to flash and emit the click sound. The water resistance of the rotating blade allows the lure to swim in the correct posture during the straight retrieve at the medium speed. It gives the appeal to fish up until the last second, when you are retrieving the lure to your feet. Without the blade, the water resistance from the blade is gone and the lure slides in longer distance to have a variable actions.
