A powerful surface disturbing vibration and sound, combined with surprisingly light and　responsive handling—this is the largest shad style pencil bait in the series.

Although the body length is only 145 mm, the shad shaped profile gives it substantial volume. Its length is just 15 mm longer than the GRINDIN’ WIRE 13, yet the total weight is nearly doubled. Thanks to a body design that maintains internal air volume, it retains buoyancy even with significant weight added, achieving unexpectedly agile operability despite weighing close to 60g.
Every action—dog walking, short to medium slides—creates intense surface disturbance, while the shallow mouth cup produces varying splash sounds without sacrificing slide performance. These elements trigger strong feeding and attack responses from predatory fish. In addition to rhythmic continuous action, subtle bowing motions that create splashes with minimal forward movement, as well as irregular actions with changes in tempo, are also highly effective.
Following the GRINDIN’ WIRE 13, this model adopts a full through wire system. A single 1.4 mm stainless hard wire runs from the line eye at the nose through to the belly and rear hook eyes. Designed for use against large fish and species with strong teeth and jaws overseas, the body features a 1.6 mm thick outer wall, with internal ribs placed strategically to further enhance structural strength.
The belly is equipped with an NT Power Swivel (#7), allowing the attachment of small blades or other attractors to increase appeal through flash and contact sound. Please note that attaching attractors may slightly interfere with the lure’s natural side to side movement.
